This hand drawn map of Winchester is our first ever city map, and what a city it is! The ancient capital of England dates back to long before the Romans arrived, boasting the countries oldest high street, oldest bar, and represents the birthplace of modern England under King Alfred the Great. And that's just to name a few claims to fame.

Following the River Itchen the map covers the old city centre down to the start of the South Downs National Park. Featuring some of the city's most famous sites, including Winchester Cathedral, the Buttercross, Great Hall and Winchester College. Local haunts, from cafes to pubs can be seen all across the map, as well as hidden gems, such as Jane Austen's house and some of the many museums.

As with all our maps, it celebrates natural spaces and wildlife. Your map has a Kingfisher, Otter and Raven, all regular visitors to the Itchen, and animals you may have seen on your adventures.

Your map is the highest quality giclée print, printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag, weighted at 308 gsm, making it as close, if not better than the original.

Don't forget your map can be customised - to make it even more special. If you have any questions about this just send us a message or email to info@lastmaps.com and we will talk you through all of the options.
